New Payment Guidelines for Erie
As of March 1, 2016 credit cards will no longer be accepted for Erie’s Payment Plan A (pay in full) or Payment Plan B (pay within 60 days). Erie will be updating their “Pay My Bill” page on www.erieinsurance.com to provide the ability to pay with a debit card. The option to pay with a debit card will also remain available for those who prefer to call us to make their payment over the phone. Keep in mind, these new guidelines only affect policies on Payment Plans A and B.
As always, you can continue to pay over the phone with a debit card (or credit card for policies not on Payment Plans A or B), with bank routing and account information, or by stopping by the office where we also accept cash payments.
Not sure if this change will affect you? Give us a call! We are always happy to answer questions and address any concerns you may have.
